Airport Express not working!!

OK: my airport Express is really messed up. All of sudden, since a couple days ago or maybe a week, my airport starts to get really slow. Then the next day my Macbook can't find the network. Sometimes it'll see the network for a second but when I try to join it, it loads for a bit and says connection timeout.

The airport express is directly under my moms desk (we use it for her computer also) which is only a couple yards away from my room. My room is literally next to where the airport is. When I bring my laptop out of my room into my living room the internet is fine again. When it's in my room it doesn't work.

This is completely out of the blue. I called customer service yesterday and he said something about interference which is likely. But the thing is, is that nothing changed. No new metal things surrounding the Airport, it was just random. I need help on how to fix this! I can't keep coming out into the living room for internet, this is ridiculous.
