Apple TV or New Mac Mini
I've finally kicked my old ... very old used up Mac Mini to the streets (sad to see it go) it has been good to me.
But now I'm moving to a new apt and still need a new player, i'm not sure if Apple TV is a better Choice.
As i don't watch that much tv (have a dvd player for dvds) but i do like to watch shows from p2p and online services like joost/hulu etc sometimes buy shows like project runway at itunes store.
for what I've read Apple TV doesn't have a browser? so i can't install Joost or logon to Hulu? then what about Itune shows , how does that work?
Need some advice
Thanks.

Inappropriate? For the most part, you are stuck with watching iTunes content on the Apple TV. Basically, you'll have to pay $1.99 for each TV show. There is no Apple TV browser, either. It's really all about the content you can buy from the iTunes store. They do offer YouTube videos, but that's not much.
It's a great idea, but it hasn't pulled me in. I'm like you.
I’m not a convert to Apple TV

Inappropriate?1k mini or $300 Apple TV
if I pick Apple TV will the movie rental fees and TV show subscription fees add up to = the price of x mac minis?
If I get a mini sure it's expensive now, but at least I can enjoy free tv shows from the net, still can download podcast + a bonus able to download and watch movies on netflex
then again Apple TV is pretty cheap (like buying an ipod), Oh boy I hate when this happens!
I’m stuck
