Are AppleCare plans transferrable?
I was thinking about buying a year old MacBook Pro from someone. If they have an AppleCare plan already, can it be transferred, or would you need to buy a new one? Can you buy a new one?

Inappropriate?The AppleCare plan is attached to the computer serial number, no matter who has the computer. So if you purchase the MacBook Pro and it has AppleCare, you will be able to use that plan without having to do anything extra.
