horrible problems w/ iLife iDVD

wtf? HUGE problems w/ iDVD ... this is my first time trying to use the program ... and ... like, i get all the way through the set-up of some decent slideshows and i just keep getting some crazy-ridiculous errors that are driving me OUT OF MY MIND!

i went out to Target and got more recordable DVD-Rs an' all ... no luck ... i tried clearing out enough room on my harddrive ( according to an online article you need like close to 5gb free to play ... grrrrrrrrrrr ) ... and after hours of transferring files out to DVD in the form of data disks, nothing!

c'mon ... seriously ... what's the deal ... this is BEYOND unacceptable!
