How come no songs are displayed in the Remote App for iPhone?

Yesterday I reset my Apple TV to factory settings and chose to chose what to be synched myself. I also added my Apple TV to the Remote app on iPhone. I also unchecked the "Show only synched items on Apple TV". My music library showed up nicely. Today I was going to browse my library but now the Remote app isn't showing any songs at all. It only shows an error message saying there aren't any songs and that I can download songs in iTunes.
