How do I cancel a TXT on iPhone if I didn't mean to Send?
Many times I am composing a TXT message and "something" (pinky, fingernail, a gust of wind) hits the "Send" button before I'm ready to send it. But there is no way to cancel! Or is there?

Inappropriate?Guess not, Apple has its flaws, you'll just have to bear with them till they decide to step down a notch (in the sense of superiority) and step up a notch (in the sense of technological flexibility).
In due time people, in due time. Lest we not forget the non-availability of the infamous "copy/paste" function in the iPhone/iPod Touch. Apple had to go all the way so as to block any third party applications that aided the process of copying and pasting over those devices. Apple controls the code, it's their product, so just wait for them to come out with something on their next try.
