i dont understand how to install applications onto my iphone 3g
everytime i try to install a free application on my iphone 3g it says to type in a apple id which i do then it says it cannot connect to the itunes store and i dont understand what to do after this...?

Inappropriate?Sounds like you're not logged in with your iTunes Apple ID.
It's faster over the Wi-Fi network, also you can download them through iTunes on your computer and use iTunes to install them next time you plug your device into the computer. -

Inappropriate?It's not asking for you Apple ID, it is asking for your Itunes account. Do you have one? You may just need to sign up in Itunes...
