Inappropriate?I've got a loose key on my iBook G4 14" laptop. The key comes away sometimes when typing or cleaning the keyboard and can be tricky to snap back in place. I've found some sites that sell replacement keys online http://www.google.com/search?q=apple+... but they can be expensive (up to $20 a key). It might be worthwhile for you to buy a cheap USB keyboard from a PC store or a used Apple keyboard on eBay.
On a related topic I've also seen a lot old iBook and PowerBook keyboards with the screen printed characters worn off the keys, you can buy stickers to replace these but check with Apple support as some of these fast wearing keyboards are considered faulty any you might get a replacement.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Apple sells "key sets" for about $29 (you can look it up on Apple's support site). Also you can call your local Apple technician and ask them if they got a key available. I broke my "Tab" key and my technician gave me one for free.
I’m ok
