I Need Help Please

Yesterday I dropped my IPhone in the sink. I managed a fast save and dried it off quickly. I looked at the water mark and it is white with I think a pink stripe. So I put it in a bag of rice and let it sit for 24 hours. I took it out and now I can turn it on and see a dark screen with all the apps. It powers on but does not shut off manually it does on its own. It seems better. Do I still have a chance of it getting back to normal or should I just sell it for parts and get a new one?
Anybody got any ideas, much appreciated???
