Imac 24 freezes on blue screen at startup
I own an Imac 24 and, recently, after an update from apple, it starts to freeze on start up, in the blue screen. I tried already fsck, resetting the P-RAM, and still don't go to finder window. Even though, I can see the machine on my macbook, through the net. But I can't access it. Anybody have a clue? Tks.
I’m sad, because after the update I cannot user my computer. And frustrated because I can't work in it

Inappropriate?My 24 imac started freezing about 2 months ago. Was told to upgrade from 250BG to at least 750GB. Did this and it started freezing within 24 hours!!!! I am furious. I have been willing to put up with some of the software shortcomings with mac (MS word, excel, quickbooks etc...) but this this is a major problem and is not an isolated incident. I have been on several forums and mac computers (mac books and imacs) started freezing around Feb, March, April 2009) WHAT IS UP!!! I am a diehard loyal mac user but this hardware problem has got me seriously considering a switch to a PC. I need a computer I can rely on.

Inappropriate?I have a triple boot setup and linux and windows portions are working fine.. but mac not.. talk about NOT the most advanced OS in history - will report back if i find a solution that DOSN'T involve reinstalling

Inappropriate?Susan.. you were taken advantage of by whomever told you that somehow more SPACE would do ANYTHING to change the configuration of the operating system (which requires 6GB for leopard for just the OS and with ALL bundled software is still only 15GB and so it has nothing to do with space)

Inappropriate?Add another annoyed intel 20 imac owner. Applecare already repaired it a few weeks back with new hard drive and logic board and now freezing on blue screen
