iPhone 3G voicemail and Bluetooth headset not working

I can't seem to get my Jabra Bluetooth headset (BT500 I think) to work with the iPhone 3G voicemail. It does work for calls. I've read elsewhere that this is a known issue. Any suggestions for solutions? Thanks!
