ipod touch iphone software upgrade error
when attempting to upgrade the ipod touch to the latest iphone software, i get the following error:
"There was a problem downloading the iPod sfotware for the iPod "". You do not have permission to access the requested resource. . ."
the itunes store has already taken my payment of $9.99 for the iphone software.

Inappropriate?I am having the same problem trying to download the iphone software to my iPod touch so I can use a medical dictionary application by Stedman's.

Inappropriate?Me too. I bought the update last night and it didn't work. Just got an error message saying that I do not have permission to access the requested resource, and to check network settings/connections. I tried correcting the settings, restarting my computer, and kept retrying, but no luck. I can download the free apps no problem, but I just can't download the update. Unfortunately, without the update, I can't use the apps I've downloaded!! It's so frustrating. I wanted to update in time to take my ipod touch on a trip, but it looks like that won't be happening now. Hope they reverse the charge to my credit card!
