Keychain Access Problems

Today I changed my admin account password on my macbook (I had to do this using the system install disk due to having lost the original password.) Since having done that, when i open safari it asks me for a keychain password, which it previously did not, and it does not accept my current account password.

I have tried repairing and verifying in Keychain First Aid but the problem has not been solved. Everything else i have tried i have been asked to enter the keychain password.

As i have now resulted in simply clicking cancel every time the window pops up i am also wandering if this is having any adverse affects on my macbook that i should be worried about.

Any Suggestions would be much appreciated.
