Let Me Navigate The Bookmarks Bar Like A Menu

When you have lots of folders in the Bookmarks Bar, it's very inconvenient to navigate. The drop down lists behave very strange. You have to click in and click out in order to move between different folders... It's actually forcing you to click DOZENS more times if you have to search through a large collection of bookmarks!

MAJOR usability issue....!

The solution is very simple and I can't figure out why Apple has left it the way it is.
Just make the Bookmarks Bar behave like a regular menu. You Click once in order to get into a "selective" mode, and click out the bar (if you didn't click any bookmark that is) to let it go. THAT SIMPLE!

people people... common! Firefox, IE, Opera and Chrome figured it out already...

At least make this an option in Settings...
