Lost Apps After Sync

Help! I was syncing my iPhone and downloading new upgrades and the phone became disconnected. The result = lost apps on my phone, including the App Store, iTunes, etc. Can anyone help? I'd prefer not to have to restore the phone. I've tried to resync and nothing happens. HELP!
