mac mini wifi broke
anyone else with a Wi-fi problem on a mac mini? Always had some problems with signal strength and keeping the link. The mac mini was purchased in 2005. Months ago it would only work for about 5 minutes and then just drop out completely. If the unit cooled down (hour or more) it might work again for a short while. I gave up and now use a connected PC (ugh) for the Wi-fi link. The PC wifi link can say up all day in the same room as the mini. Another laptop further away gets a good connection.

Inappropriate?We have had this problem on and off...but we think we may have found a solution to our problem. We think it is heat related. We solved it with a temp solution and did a write-up here:

Inappropriate?thanks that's a very good write up on the problem. I agree it probably is heat related. I might try a fan to cool the mini.
