My Dell XPS has an HDMI port that sends audio and video to my HDTV which I love, is this even possible with MacBook Pro?

Inappropriate?You could use a Mini DisplayPort to DVI adaptor, then a DVI to HDMI adaptor or cable. Messy, but it should work fine.
Of course, you'd have to send the audio to your TV another way, such as optical, or a headphone-jack-to-stereo-RCA cable.

William's response is correct. You will need adapters to get it from mDP to HDMI and audio through optical or RCAs.
If you want a direct solution then no, there is no solution. -
