MobileMe Mail (web and IMAP) down for many users...
After the launch complexities, Mobile Me mail is still down for many users (both Web and IMAP). While it's not all users, has anyone heard if Apple has a plan to get it reliable?
This really affects iPhone users because it's the only way to sync to an iPhone using Mobile Me (no direct sync like on the Mac, the iPhone uses the mail platform for syncing that data to MobileMe). This is a substantial problem.

Inappropriate?You can't do Bluetooth from the iPhone to the Mac?
I had problems with the Mobile Me mail earlier today but now it is fixed. Apple says 1% of users are still having problems ... oh well, new software (MM) always has bugs.

Down all day today. Can not get emails, or random delivery. Cant send, and if email shows up, its two hours after it was sent to me... -
Inappropriate?Of course syncing (not bluetooth, but USB) with the Mac still works. But, once you start syncing over MobileMe, you can't just go back and sync. Besides, I love not having to sync and just having it all happen.
Hopefully they'll resolve it. Blows my mind that at this stage, they're having this much trouble, it's not like the foundation of mail servers is new.1 Comment Add a comment

Inappropriate?simple! move away from mobileme! as it is, the market has BETTER offerings than mobileme, just that u cant see them because apple hogs the limelight. one better solution is http://iphone.hyperoffice.com, it lets you synch personal mail, tasks, contacts and calendars (like mobileme) and also share this info with colleagues (which mobileme doesnt do). in addition, it also lets uou view and share documents right from your iphone (a unique feature)
