Moving iWork between macs
I have purchased iwork08 for my old computer. I can't find iWork on the install disks for my old mac but want to move it to my new mac. When I copy the folder to applications it tells me iWork is missing files. Where can I download a copy of iWork08 installer as I cant find it on the apple site? Only 09

Inappropriate?QUOTE: "I have purchased iwork08"
If you have purchased iWork'08 then all you need to do is install it from the DVD you got inside the iWork'08 box.
If you got it as a download from the Apple Store then you should be able to re-download from the receipts / downloads section in your Apple Store account (you have to login to your account). -
P.s. - If you are talking about the "gray" DVD install disks (AKA: restore) that came with your mac. You won't be able to move files from that DVD to your new mac because those disks are mac model specific... -
Inappropriate?I just had the same problem. The solution is to grab all iWork files (The iWork folder in /Applications, and the iWork folders in /Users/youruser/Library/Application Support and /Library/Application Support) and transfer all of those to your new Mac. When you run an iWork app, it should no longer state that there are missing files, but will still appear to be the trial version. At this point, click the "Buy" icon, and get ready to input your serial number, which you will find in the about dialog of any iWork app on your old Mac. All your registration details will probably be the same, so just click continue, it will connect to Apple, and the the full version of that app will open.
