MY IPODS ALSO SUCKED
I bought an ipod photo like they other guy... and apple care- and in the two years i've owned this piece it's been broken for about half the time. genius bar doesn't help they would reset it- and it would work for a week or a month until the same thing happens again. most recently i had it replaced (supposedly), but in calling apple to complain this after noon they told me it was just reset and sent back the last time it was repaired! imagine that! even after i requested they replace it and we went through a bunch of hoopla trying to get the name on the engraving right so it could be identical to

Inappropriate?I am sorry, but I have had such a different experience with my iPhone. Its headphone jack was messing up (presumably because it had pocket lint in there), so they cleaned it out. But I went to the Apple store and requested that they replace it, because I thought it might be an electrical short, and they did! No questions asked. They transferred all my information to the new iPhone and handed it to me.
One thing that I think really helps with customer care is not being angry or treating the techies like it's their fault. Just be nice, and they'll be much more likely to be nice to you.
