No firmware restoration CD-ROM for late-2008 MacBook Pro!
Apple released a firmware update (v1.6) for the late-2008 MacBook Pro in January, but there's no restoration disc available.
I spoke to my local Apple authorised repair centre, and they said it'd likely be two days if I needed them to fix a firmware-related problem. The person I spoke to couldn't confirm that they could definitely resolve an issue with such a recent release.
Please Apple, the restoration disc is just as important as the update itself, what's taking so long? This should've been released at the same time as the update!
