PayPal has blocked iTunes purchases meaning that I can't use my PayPal account to buy music or even my PayPal debit card because it is "currently unsafe" according to customer support!

Inappropriate?Strange-- I've used my PayPal debit card for iTunes purchases for several years, up until today, and have never had a problem.
Doesn't PayPal have a virtual debit card number you can use?
If those don't work, maybe try gift cards instead?
