Remote app on iPhone needs 2 more features...
The Remote app on the iPhone should allow you to load music from other iTunes libraries on the network. And it should allow you to start full screen mode!

Inappropriate?1) It does support multiple libraries.
2) If you start-up iTunes in full-screen mode, then if you change the music using remote.app, it will stay in full-screen. -
Inappropriate?1) No, it allows you to connect to different computers. I want to connect to one computer, and then tell it to play music from any computer on my network.
2) That is a hack, not a feature. -
1: why don't you have all your music consolidated in one library - it's not difficult to do
2: not a big deal either way - but I guess if your desperate to find something to niggle about it's as worthy a point as some others -
Inappropriate? He's absolutely right. This should be supported out-of-box. I have an old Mac that sees the libraries on my various other machines and feeds them into my study's stereo system (which also distributes the signal to other rooms via old fashioned WIRES!) I should be able to control the 'head' to play shared libraries into the stereo. Why shouldn't the remote be able to do this? It's just a matter of adding a setting ("Allow iPhone/iPod Remote.app to control playback of shared content?")
I don't want to have to hack together some kludgy Samba solution when iTunes sharing works very nicely already.
I’m impatiently awaiting the correction of this oversight.
