Inappropriate? If he has an iTunes account, he will need to remove your credit card number from his account. Has he done that already?

Inappropriate?Specifically this page at Apple's support site says, "To delete your credit card number from iTunes, click this link to launch iTunes and we'll take you to the Account Information page. Then, click “Edit Payment Information”. Finally, click None in credit card type."
If it is your child's iTunes account which has your credit card associated with it you will need to enter their Apple ID and password when prompted. If you are not prompted for your user name and password try clicking the email address in the upper right hand corner of iTunes (just below the "Search iTunes Store" field). iTunes should then prompt you to enter your ID and password.
