I'm unhappy with the reasons Apple gives for rejecting iPhone apps

Edited on 03/18/09
Now I enjoy using Apple hardware and software as much as the next person, and recently purchased the late-2008 issue MacBook Pro 15", which I'm very happy with.

But what I'm really not happy with is the way Apple is managing the AppStore. The lengthy delays, unknown policies, and really silly reasons for rejection need to be fixed.

Apple needs to:

* Stop rejecting apps based on user-supplied content. Period.
* Allow demo versions of paid apps, preferably downloadable from the same page as the main app.
* Publish clear, plain English policies about how apps will be accepted, and stick to it.
* Publish, at least for developers, details about queue lengths and waiting times to have apps approved, so developers know how long their app is likely to take.
* Prioritise updates to existing applications, especially where said updates are security-related.

I'd also like to point out here that I'm simply an observer here. I own neither an iPhone nor an iPod Touch, and while I've signed up for and downloaded the iPhone SDK, I've not actually started developing any apps. Of course, this is unlikely to change if the current problems surrounding the App Store continue.

sad I’m sad.
