Too many fonts! I think we need a "date added" field in Font Book.
This would help me disable some of the more recent ones that didn't work out.
Or even better, use the auto event feature from iPhoto to create relevant categories for batch disabling and enabling.

Go to 'Macintosh HD'>'Library'>'Fonts'
Then secondary click the top bar, select 'Show View Options' and then enable 'Date Created'
You can sort by 'Date Created' or 'Date Modified' -
Inappropriate?that's actually the second thing I tried, but for some reason Date Created and Date Modified don't reflect when I added the fonts.
i really like the linotype program though. i'll keep using that. -

i'm surprised that Font Book doesn't tackle more of these little problems.
