Wanted changes in the next iPhone firmware release
Here are some suggestions that I would like to see in the next or at least a future release of the iPhone firmware for iPod touch:
- visual bar of disk space in Settings > About, like in iTunes and on other iPods
- ability to create bookmark folders in YouTube, like in Safari (move bookmarks in to different folders)
- ability to flag messages in Mail
- ability to group contacts in Contacts (move contacts in to different groups)
- ability to copy and paste text
- ability to create folders and move photos into different folders in Photos
- when holding a tap on an item in the iTunes Music Store or the App Store, that item's full title appears in a bubble (similar to popup bubbles in Safari), so that you can see the item's full name if it cannot be shown fully by itself (if that is confusing, here's an example: In the iTunes Music Store, let's say there's a song called abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz. However, since the name is so long, only abcdefghij... shows. When you long-tap on this song, the full name would appear in a bubble)
- allow more than nine home screens
- ability to create different calendars directly in Calendar

Inappropriate?Mine:
- A simpler way to organize apps
I have 9 screens which are almost full and cannot reorganize easily the apps as i want. This prevents me from buying more
- Cannot believe there are still no sync for notes. So i rely now on third parties for notes. But the sync process are heterogenous. Please implement push notifications as promised !
- a way not to have iphoto launched each time i plug my iphone for charging
(sync every month ?)
- there's a bug with dedicated ringtones. They are reset to default for whatever reason
- in calendar, a way to modify the calendar an event is affected to (because often you don't have the time/the reflex to set it to the proper one at creation of the event in the iphone)
- a "all inbox" mailbox
- server-side rules for mobileme
- a link to Maps inside the "place of meeting" record in calendar. When i go for a meeting and have defined properly the place where it takes place in ical, i would like to be able to have directions for it
- a shorcut for activating wifi or not (sometimes, when you want access to the internet some wifi networks are not open, so you are stuck to go inside preferences to disable wifi and go it the edge/3G way )
- if i have defined a surname in adress book, i would like it to be used in call logs
- The interface to set up time is not best. One wheel should be enough (see weighbot for example)
- and copy and paste, why not ?
