Why do light grays appear pink/green on my MacBook Pro?
My MacBook Pro 17" (late 2008 with LED backlight) is great—except for one issue I have with the display.
It seems to me that in general the viewing angle of this display is not as good as that of my previous PowerBook G4 17" : (
Light colors, especially grays, appear pink or green. A good example of this is the track info display area in the iTunes window. I know what it should look like, but it doesn't. There apears to be a small fade from pink to light green at the top of it.
If I look at my screen from a bit down certain colors become really green. I mean VERY green! This is also apparent when you're using the computer at night and you notice the green glow on your hands and keyboard.
Is something wrong with my display or do other people have this issue too?
