Why no support for old hardware?
Why dont they support old g5 hardware before the intel merger? I know why...but its not fair to customers who spent $2500 on a machine and need to get a new one because they cant buy a $200 part.

Inappropriate?Apple has to stop supporting old products some time. Would you prefer they allow supporting old products and backward compatibility to stifle new features the way Microsoft does? (the Windows Vista team jumped through a lot of hoops to make sure old Win16 apps designed for Windows 3.11 still worked!)
