Planning button doesn't fit in the top bar, please move it to the project menu bar
Planning button doesn't fit in the top bar. You should put it in the menubar of a project. In this way we shouldn't choose a project first and it's quicker with switching between information.

Inappropriate? We thought about this when we started, but felt it would be easier for project managers to switch between multiple projects if we provided a projects list. If we are providing a projects list, it's not "best practice" to put "planning" as a tab in a project.
But yes, having the menu at top causes problems on lower resolutions, and breaks the menu bar. We need to find a solution to that!
What do people think? Shall we move Planning as a tab within project?
I’m wondering what users want here...
-
Inappropriate?I think we should move it to the projects or give people the option.

Inappropriate?Hello I am also having a similar issue. After installing, we notice the height of the header & page info container are increased--causing the top nav menu to be halfway hidden under the page info container area.
We have checked the global.css and Access theme css and there are no changes before or after the install of the planning module.
Any pointers on how to fix this problem with extra padding and overlapping divs?
Please see a screenshot of how the nav appears AFTER installing Planning Module:

This is how it appears BEFORE the install:

This happens because the width of the icon bar increases. The logo and icon bar can't fit in a line then.
We will have Planning available as a tab within a project now. That should avoid the issue.
Of course, it would be wonderful if there was an easy way to accommodate more icons at the top! -
Inappropriate? As a note, the new Access Theme update has fixed this issue for me without the need for it to be a tab in a project.
I’m happy

Super! Didn't know Leon fixed that ;-)
We have moved Planning module as a tab alongside tickets / checklist in a project in the new version. So this should not be a problem in either case.
Thanks for reporting :) -
Inappropriate?Planning module version 1.0 removes the icon at top and places Planning module link as a Tab within project - along with tabs for tickets / discussions etc.
This issue is hence solved.
I’m happy
