Like most linux users, I installed Simple Message System on my
Diecimila and became frustrated with instructions to use stty and screen.
So I wrote some shell scripts. See attached.
My package gives full IO and PWM control. AD is scaled to milliVolts and
formatted for import to most spreadsheets. I attach the tarfile, also
available via 'wget http://207.14.167.161/SMS1.tgz' (not 24/7,only works
when my PC is booted). I hope you find it useful.

Is there a router or bridge of some sort that can manage these multiple inputs/outputs. Equally as important, does any of the arduino ready software support this?
"A group of New York University postgraduate students has developed the "Botanicalls" system, which lets plants convey their needs to people. Moisture sensors placed in the soil send a signal over a wireless network to a gateway that places a call if the plant's too dry or wet."
