Why does my portfolio site load so slowly?

My site loads REALLLLLLLLLLLY slowly. Is there a reason/solution for this? It's true when I first go to the site, but then also going from one portfolio to another within thesite.

Is there a way to add VIDEO to one's Artlog portfolio site? It looks like still image is the only option. Even links to Youtube would be a boon... something like BakerArtistAwards.org ? There are a lot of us out there who use moving image, and screenshots and links aren't fun compromises...

Recent User Updates - not in Recently Updated

I have updated my User page with information (included a new image, as well as a note) yesterday. Why does it not show up in the "Recently Updated" sort. When I click on the user I see the updated information but the viewers have no way to know that it has been updated. Please let me know how can this be fixed. I posted time sensitive information.

Why can't I create a portfolio? (or what am I doing wrong?)

Is creating a portfolio disabled? How do I create one? When in Dashboard I try to go to artists portfolio and am guided to a link about Arlo Artists portfolio sites. When I click on this active link, I am brought to a few pop-up screens asking to sign up for notification on the site will be launched. None of the options listed allow me to initiate anything. If I cannot create a portfolio, I would like to delete my account - at least until I can actually create

I can't find a way to simply delete my account.

It isn't that I don't like artlog, but I am in the middle of both a name change and a complete portfolio rebuild and simply want to delete my old account and start again.

Thanks very much for any help you can give.

i joined just recently and am trying to set up a profile site before i do too much. when i am trying to set it up and put in summary information and such there is a up and down grey bar arrow that appears near the very left of the screen and in the small space that remains to the left of that is the only place it will allow me to type. also, when i click to add stills the screen lightens drastically and there is no prompt to download anything.

Cannot connect to my artlog site through my domain name. I have done everything a hundred times in trying to resolve this issue and I think it is because logging onto my artlog requires the password...
my domain is www.mndesign.co.uk the you can see the message I get when visiting.

Add RSS feed! I use vienna everyday. Frankly i prefer this approach then getting yet another "newsletter" into my inbox. You probably know how e-flux alone piles up!! holy smoke. with an rss feed i can check the new posts and take the time, when i have the time, to look thru what is up. It's a simple thing to add. anyhow, great site! thanks!
