Problems with International characters (äöü)
Problems with "Umlauts" (äöü) in Export and Print: We have international names (and are happy that you support different currencies out of the box) and found problems when generating letters to or exporting Donors with äöü in their names. It would be nice to have clean UTF-8/Intl. support.

Inappropriate?Thanks for the heads up about this - we were able to quickly fix the problem. We simply needed to pass the text of your letter through a unicode filter in order to display the unicode characters properly.
Now, you can use all sorts of umlauts and accents to your heart's content.

I'm sorry to tell you that the problem actually still exists (at least for me. :))
I created a new letter (PDF) for a (fictive) Donor "Patrick Grädel" and still get the Umlauts wrong. The following is a Screenshot from the PDF that was generated.

Inappropriate?Sorry about the continued trouble - the problem turned out to be a an issue with uppercasing unicode characters in the recipient address. We made a change last night, and I've had a chance to test it with various unicode characters, upper and lower. Could you give it a try again and let me know how it goes with your letter?
