"Dim previously selected tweets" doesn't dim enough
"Dim previously selected tweets" doesn't dim enough - you have to look pretty closely to see which items are dimmed and which aren't.

Inappropriate?Yeah what ever percentage things were dimmed, needs to be doubled at least.
And a "Mark all as read" button/KB shortcuts is needed. -
Agreed, but maybe that should be a new feature request. -
Agreed, joined the convo here for the "mark all as read" feature: http://getsatisfaction.com/atebits/to... -
Inappropriate?Exactly, the dim level is too low, should be customizable or at least set up to higher value.
-
Inappropriate? To make read tweets even easier to ignore:
- also dim the avatar.
and/or
- add a blue Mail-like dot on the new tweets.
I’m confident
-
I'd like to see the dimming even more faded out than in your image. -
Inappropriate?I agree with blue dot, grouping successive tweets is a nice idea, but I am not sure that easy to implement. At the beginning please at least lower the color and avatar for the read tweets.

Agreed on the dimmed tweets needing to be much more dimmed out and also dimming of the avatars. -
Inappropriate?I don't like the blue dot idea but I think the suggestion to dim the avatar along with the message (which could be dimmed a bit more) is right on the money.
I’m not down with blue dots. They are shifty and dangerous.

Inappropriate?Yeah, the dimming of the avatar would go a LONG way in solving the problem. Currently, EventBox does this and it's a whole lot easier on the eyes to quickly see what you've read already.
