Preferences indicate that you can make Tweetie only highlight icons for activity that you want, like Mentions, or Messages. I have unchecked "Unseen Tweets" and restarted the application, but it continues to highlight new messages and activity for the Timeline.

Inappropriate?Same problem here. I have no need to see if there's Unseen Tweets, so I turn that option off. But I'm still getting the little icon appearing.

Inappropriate?I'm also interested in turning off the status icon for Unseen Tweets and only being notified of Unseen Mentions and Unseen Messages, but Tweetie doesn't seem to respect those preferences, even after restarting the application.

Inappropriate?For me changing the status requires switching from the timeline to the replies or any other of the four panes. It should disable the new tweets highlighted icon right after the app is brought to the foreground.
