Change password invalidates account in Tweetie.
I had to change my password and Tweetie said my login was invalid (obviously) but had no way to change the password.
I had to end up deleting the account. But when I recreated it, it still didn't work.
I had to delete it. Create a dummy account, delete that and then create my original account with the new password.

Inappropriate?I created a second entry for the same account, which worked fine, and then
deleted my original one.
There definitely needs to be a way to update your password in Tweetie directly. -
Inappropriate?Another workaround is to go into Keychain Access, and change the password tweetie has saved there, and the quit and reopen Tweetie.

Inappropriate?tried Shawn Craver's fix, it didn't work for me. So I am locked out of tweetie, and frustrated! Glad I didn't pay for it!

Are you sure you did it right? When you go to Keychain Access you'll see something that says com.atebits.tweetie-mac Click that and then click the box next to show password. Enter your computer's password and you'll be shown your old Twitter password. Put the new one there and click save changes. Then quit and restart Tweetie and it's supposed to solve the problem. I just did this and it worked. Otherwise, you might try deleting the app and reinstalling it.
