How do I disable polling for changes on inactive accounts?
I have multiple accounts in Tweetie: my personal one (which only I check), and two company accounts (which others check as well). When I'm not actually viewing the company accounts, I don't want their hourly API quota used up by my Tweetie.
I should definitely have the option, on a per-account basis, to check for updates either "always" or "when this account is active/selected".
Alternatively, I should have a per-account refresh rate setting.

Inappropriate?I agree with this one a lot.
The other issue with this is that because I'm not actively checking the other accounts, the blue dots and blue bar in the menu is constantly blue. Hence I never see when I am getting new tweets.
So the multiple accounts feature of tweetie is virtually useless for me.
Another way to do this, is to be able to set an account to "only receive updates on click".
So unless I click "account2", it doesn't retrieve any updates. This would probably a nice way of solving the problem
I’m frustrated that the core multiple accounts feature doesn't work for me
