Inappropriate?Deffinately agree, it's something that frustrates me on web twitter as well, www. is a lot less than http:// so you could fit more url in your message.
I would go so far as to say WITHOUT www. prefix but with .com/.net/.org/.otherpopularone suffix should be automatically hyperlinked as well.
