Inappropriate?Doubke clich the Tweet. That brings up the whole thread of messages with "in reply to"
I’m happy

Inappropriate? It doesn't bring up the thread for me, do you have to be following all parties to see what the tweet was in reply to? you don't have to on the iPhone app.
I’m confused

At first I seemed to be having the same problem as you, but it works for me now. Like Jeff said, it has to be an "official" reply. The person has to click reply either on the web or from a good piece of software that supports it (TWEETIE, twhirl, Tweetdeck, et al.). If you double click on that reply, you can see the entire reply chain. Nice feature. Go to @jimmyfallon or @johncmayer for some examples. They reply to a lot of people. Just double click one of their replies. (⌘U invokes the "go to user" dialog box) Try it out. Good luck. -
btw: to get this to work on the twitter homepage, you gotta do the same thing ;) -
Inappropriate? The person had to click "reply" on the message in order for the conversation thread to show up. Have you tried doing this with other messages?
This works for me...it's too bad it doesn't work for you.

Inappropriate?I had this problem today (with version 1.1.1). Double clicking on the tweet did not show me the conversation of the replies. Perhaps because one of the parties I was not following myself, I don't know. I had to use the Twitter website and click the "reply to" links on the bottom of each message to see what each tweet was in reply to for each.
