Menu bar icon shows new messages even after reading
The menu bar icon remains blue after opening and reading new tweets until I scroll up and down to register that I have read tweets. Simply unhiding/opening the tweetie window should deactivate the new message icon.
New adverts also appear to activate the new message notification which isn't very helpful.

Inappropriate?It is kinda lame that you have to scroll for the menubar to acknowledge that you've read the new tweets and change from blue to black. The window focusing should be enough, otherwise you have to use the mouse.
