New tweets notification sound
Is there a way of having a little 'tweet' noise or something similar when a new tweet arrives? At the moment as far as I can tell, the only notification is the menu bar icon going blue which I never notice. Some kind of pop-up noise, plus the option to have a pop-up message on screen would be great.

Inappropriate?I want this sort of, but with an option to have it for all tweets or via a filter. I personally don't care so much to be notified of every single new tweet that comes across my timeline. I would only want to be notified when someone @replies to me, or have the option to be notified when a given search term/phrase shows up (say for example I only wanted to be notified when people on my list mentioned Tweetie in their tweets)

Inappropriate?Sounds for each category and growl notifications would be immediately useful. Message counts in the dock notification are good v1.5 features.

Inappropriate?Download tweet deck. It's a desktop application that does that. Or you can get the twitterfox add on for firefox then just find a nice tweet sound and set it to your alert sound under the preferences menu.
