I know that the tradeoff for getting to use Tweetie for free is seeing ads, and I don't overly mind that. Nevertheless, I don't think that the appearance of an ad in my timeline merits or requires that the Tweetie icon light up as if I got a new tweet! Must we receive notifications of new ads?
