Reply indicator still shown even after seeing all replies in my main timeline.
Reply indicator doesn't go away after seeing all replies in my main timeline. It should go away if I've seen all the replies in my main timeline.

Inappropriate?Yeah, this is bugging me too. It's not a real issue, but HUGELY dissatisfying nonetheless. Read what @gruber wrote about how more steps in a UI make you not wanna use it. I don't want to click through my timeline and then AGAIN through my @-mentions, even though it's the same content...
I’m a bit bugged by this...

Inappropriate?I agree--this should be fixed. Because the menubar icon turns blue for *any* unread message this enforces an unnecessary extra step to synchronize timeline and reply read status.
I’m hoping this will be fixed.

Inappropriate? This is very annoying. I love Tweetie save for a few small things, and this is one of them.

Inappropriate?Completely agree. This was one of the first things I noticed when using. I saw at least 10 Tweets on this as well.

Inappropriate? The only way I can find to get rid of the indicator is to select the @ or envelope or search icons. Otherwise it sits there telling me there are new messages that don't exist. The indicator should go away once the app is brought to the front and the scroll bar hits the top of the window.
I’m frustrated and annoyed

Inappropriate? The unread mark disappears not by reading tweets but by scrolling down and up to the top again. This is s little stupid, especially when you're navigating with a keyboard.

Inappropriate?Saying 'this is a little stupid' is surely going to get a positive reaction from the developer. Well done.

I would not have phrased it that way, either, but I'm still very surprised that a bug this irritating still remains after at least one update (was this reported when 1.0 or 1.0.1 was the current version?). It's the primary reason I'm still using Twitterific -- Twitterific actually respects the fact that I've opened it, read the tweets, and closed the window. Tweetie sits there obliviously saying "You've got stuff you haven't seen yet!" even when I have seen it all. I shouldn't have to scroll around or change "tabs" to get the indicator to go away. It might be tolerable if there was a key combo to press to clear it, but there isn't one.
