The only reason I didn't buy the app is because it doesn't have groups.

I did buy Tweetie because what it does it does well enough to justify the purchase for me. Having said that, this is the one feature I most want to see implemented.

A few friends are Twitter spammers and whilst I don't want to unfollow them completely I would like to be able to filter their messages into a different stream.

I also would love to see group functionality. I follow about 50 twitter feeds, and I hate to lose friends and family amongst the other feeds (which I still like to receive, but don't normally wade through).

I _NEED_ groups. Without groups Tweetie is useless to me. It has all the other features that I'm looking for in a Twitter client, but without groups, I just cannot use it. Please, please, please, add groups to Tweetie (both for the Mac version, but I would not mind them for the iPhone version as well).

This is really a feature that any decent Twitter-Client should have. And it's the only thing that really keeps me from using (or buying) Tweetie ...

I agree. This is a no-brainer. The developer has posted on his blog that you should just create another account. That is not a solution IMO. Groups and desktop/iPhone sync are my two biggest wants.

I agree. Thinking about switching back to Tweetdeck because of it. I want to make sure I don't miss key opportunities and connections.
