Tweetie shortens URLs with TinyURL when my preferences are set to use tr.im
I have my preferences set to use tr.im to shorten URLs, but whenever I create a tweet containing a link, and I don't explicity click the "Shorten URLs...." command, Tweetie automatically shortens the link using TinyURL instead of tr.im.

Inappropriate?I have a similar problem, except it's shortening with bit.ly. My preferences are also set to tr.im.

Inappropriate?I also have this problem...sometimes, I want to explicitly show a YouTube link or whatever, so people know what it goes to. I spend some time making sure the full URL fits in my 140 characters, but Tweetie goes and shortens it anyways. This needs to be fixed!

Inappropriate?Are you sure it's actually Tweetie that's shortening it? I'm not sure of the details exactly, but I do know that Twitter automaticaly shortens links that are of a certain length, even if the whole thing fits in 140 characters, using bit.ly:
