Visually indicate a completed refresh + number of new tweets
I'd like to see some sort of visual indication of new tweets when refreshing, something like to a slide down or overlay that lets you know the refresh is done and how many tweets were fetched.
I'm not talking about a badge on the bottom row of icons, but rather a slide-down sheet (similar to Twitterific) or even a bezel-style overlay on the screen. Something obvious & visual.
It's tough to determine when the refresh is done without looking at the tiny spinning wheel in the iPhone menubar.

Inappropriate?I'm for "Visually indicate new tweets". Give the new/unread tweets/DMs/messages a sort of visual cue (different background color or whatever).

I'm looking for a pop-up window of some sort that lets me know the refresh has completed and there are X number of new tweets. I'm not so much concerned about the timeline tweets being highlighted, although that might be one solution to this.
If you try the free version of Twitterific, you'll see what I mean.
