What is the status/timeline for both Tweetie for iPhone and for Mac? Seems like both have been forgotten.
It's been months since Tweetie for iPhone has seen any updates, and OS 3.0 things like in-app email are sorely lacking. Flickr support would be nice too. The Mac version also has seen little in the way of updates, and the devloper's blog and Twitter updates for Tweetie haven't been active at all for months.
Are things still going on behind the scenes? Can we get some sort of timeline/timeframe of what to expect? A feature/updates/fixes list?

I mostly pay attention to the threads I participate in, and most of those have gone unanswered for weeks and months. The newer posts all seem to be flagged as "needs answered". I wish there were a way on this website to see all the developer's replies/posts in one place instead of having to dig around for information.
I'm not trying to be a jerk, I really like both apps. It's just the silence that is frustrating. An official blog post every couple weeks would be cool. And it is very odd that a developer of two popular Twitter apps doesn't tweet much, at least not on the @tweetie account. -

We've been talking about Tweetie 2.0 for iphone for like a month now. Loren is literally locked in a remote cabin in the frozen north working on it like a fevered hierophant.
I'm sure you know about Loren's personal account, @atebits. It's a bit more active than the @tweetie account, but in general, Loren is just not a 'lunch, work, tv shows' twitterer, so he tends to be a bit less noisy than other users.
As for what threads have been answered or not, I see three that 'need answer' on the first page, all from the last 24 hours. I just woke up, I'll be sure to answer them after this.

No, I am not "being silly". Where have you been talking about Tweetie 2.0? I assume here on GS?
I see about 3-4 pages worth of questions marked as "needs answer" on these GS pages, some older than a month or more. I realize some of these are duplicates that have probably already been answered.
Like I said, an Atebits blog post or two goes a long way (April 7th, 2009 was the last one), and makes it easy to know exactly what the status is. Digging through these topics to find information is not ideal. And I did not know about the personal account of the developer, I figured Tweetie updates would be made to the @tweetie account...
But anyways, thanks for the info. Glad to know things are happening. -
