Why does Tweetie for Mac progressively suck the longer you leave it on?
Why does Tweetie for Mac progressively suck the longer you leave it on? Posting a new tweet takes like 5 minutes... pointless delay loops? When I turn it off and back on it will post a tweet instantly but if I leave it on for hours, it'll take LOOOOOOONG time to post a new tweet.

Inappropriate?I have this same problem. The connection goes idle and the little spinner in the bottom right just keeps spinning and then it eventually kicks back in, but it usually takes at least an hour for me. Sucks to have to keep restarting the app.
I’m not happy about it
-
Inappropriate?Reproduceable. I also see it using more and more memory. Right now it's using 1.2 GB of "real mem". If I restart it drops down to 28.2MB. I assumed this was just something funky because of Snow Leopard, but I'm also seeing similar behavior on 10.5.7.
I’m gonna need more memory
-
Inappropriate?I haven't been able to get Tweetie to use more than 60 megs of real mem on my system - do you have a "sane" install of everything (no hacks or anything like that?)
-
LOL. Define "sane". :) I'm running the latest Snow Leopard build and a few other beta things from Apple... I've just noticed some odd behavior from Safari as well, so I suspect something in my system is causing Tweetie to flip out. Let me do a fresh reinstall of Snow Leopard and then apply the mega-patch from yesterday and see if it still does it. Sorry to panic you -- this is probably my fault. -
Inappropriate? My install is normal. I don't think it uses gigs of memory on my computer but it's still slow to send posts at times. I'm running 10.5.7.
