With multiple accounts, mark read tweets of shared followed people read across those accounts
Just that: with multiple accounts, mark read tweets of shared followed people (or if the tweet comes from me but I follow myself in another account – yes, that makes sense) read across those accounts. That would rock and avoid lots of redundancy in reading. (Should probably not apply for "mentions", though.)

Inappropriate?This would be awesome. It's really annoying to have to mark the same tweets read in multiple accounts—especially when it's my own tweet. -
Inappropriate?Since Tweetie for Mac (as a desktop application) should probably be caching ALL downloaded tweets in a local SQLlite database, this should be easy to implement.

Inappropriate?The most important part for me is the ability to follow a user from a user-chosen Twitter account.
With the absence of groups, it's tantamount that Tweetie lets us choose from which account to follow a user when on his/her profile.
