Inappropriate?Hi Rabob,
What would you like to see in an expens'd iPhone app? -
Inappropriate?I onlly need it to organize by trip. If it was importable into quicken that would be great but not needed
-
Inappropriate?FlightTrack Pro linked into TripIt is great... having simple inteface for adding expenses on the go on my iPhone, that links to TripIt would be great!! ;-)
I’m excited

Inappropriate?I am an avid iPhone user. I found your application today through TripIt. I can tell you right now that I will never use your service without it having an iPhone app. It's just far easier to use Numbers on my laptop to make similar reports at the end of the day than to use the web interface you have.
As an iPhone App, I could add to my expenses in real time, I'd love to do that and I'd pay an app fee for it.
An expens'd iPhone app should have the basics:
1. Be on all board (does not require an internet connection to add items)
2. Sync with expens'd online (both ways, and if the user so chooses)
3. Send email expense reports directly via the iPhone mail app (not via the web expens'd online interface = too slow and too many steps)
4. The interface should be clean and to the point (few clicks as possible, w/ snappy response time).
5. You should be able to add everything on one screen (use scroll wheels for mileage and time fields)
6. Pull contacts from the address book on the iphone when noting a dinner with a client etc..
7. It should look like the website (same colors and clean feel) and/or flighttrack pro.
8. You might want to add a mileage wizard:
- Click "Drive" button, start a timer or just save current time, ask for previous and ending mielage when they click the "end drive" button.
9. You might want to add a time wizard for billable hours.
- Someone could use the app to record billable hours
- "Start Timer" "End Timer" Category = Mr. Bob's Website Hourly Rate
10. Start timer and Drive buttons could be discretely on the bottom left and right of the screen at all times within the app.

Eric's comments are excellent, and I support them. -
Inappropriate?Hi Eric,
Thanks for the details for the iPhone app. That helps a lot as we are planning an iPhone application right now. I'll pass your feedback to our developers for incorporation into the specs.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate? An iPhone app would be great and would dramatically increase my usage. I think Eric covered all the app needs/wants above. Would not be as big a user of the "Drive" or "Timer" features but can see where that would be needed for many industries.
I’m excited

Inappropriate?need to have multiple currencies; as most of us travle - hence connection with trip-it
therefore should sync with trip it and say this expense is related ot this travel item
also need simpl breakdown; this is food, travel, ents, etc -
Inappropriate?Yay. Love this idea. Please let me know when you've made it. I'll have a copy straight away.
I’m excited

Inappropriate?I'm looking forward to the appearance of an iPhone app; hope the iTunes App Store acceptance procedure is not delaying your progress.
I’m hoping...!
